For jacking the front: I see what you mean about the main crossbeam, I like that a lot (I hadn't realized it was solid enough to lift the whole car) and then jackstands on either side at the jackpoints.
For jacking the back: how do you get the whole back end in the air? Do you work back and forth from one side to the other till you get it all the way up?
