Hi,

The last time it was rebuit it was a MB tranny rebuild, costing just under $3k, this time I had the transmission rebuilt by the tech and it cost just under $2k. He said it did not need a complete rebuild, just the band and the piston had to be replaced with the mount and a control cable.

The waranty on the rebuild was 3years 36k miles. It was rebuilt 12\10\98 and died on 12\26\01, leaving me with no warranty. Hope this one lasts longer than 3 years 60k miles.
