I would be more concerned with the seal being an OE than the glass. The front window glass quality is controlled by DOT standards but there is nothing controlling the seal quality (provided your model uses a large rubber seal around the glass, most modern cars are different in that they use a glob of sealant)
Some aftermarket seals are skimpy and allow water to get in then you have a rust bucket in a few years. Tell the installers you demand a Mercedes seal, they usually buy the cheap ones from a jobber like like Worldpac, I know a window installer that refuses to use them they are so poor!
