Ok this time.

All I can say is I AM A BELIEVER!.

Looking to the sides of the shiney area you will notice small spots. That is where the stuff splattered off the rotating wheel. Just the fact that the compound was sitting on the trim (without any buffing) caused some improvement. It seems to react chemically with the oxidation and remove it. Add friction and it seems to take it back to original.

Well thats all im going to say about it. Believe it or not.
