The only true way to see the actaul yeat that the car is titled is by the VIN number. THE 10th digit will tell you what year MODEL the car is.
The earliest model change that MB ever had was on the 1995 E300D, some of these cars were made in OCT 1993!! But the title still said 1995!!
Another early release was the SLK in JAN 1997 as a 1998 model.
The 10th digit of the VIN on a 1995 car is the letter "S'.
