I don't know how far you are from Steve's shop but if I were you I'd be sorely tempted to bite the bullet and let him do the job. I had mine done a year ago and it's nice to have the piece of mind that it's done for good (assuming you replace the aluminum evaporator with a copper one.)

I have read that some techs will NOT be thrilled to work on a vehicle which has had CryoSeal installed in it, should it not work. There is apparently a concern about the stuff contaminating the R134a which is sucked out of the system for recycling.
