The most recent problem on my 87 300E is this CLUNK ! I turn the wheel about half a revolution left or right and i hear ( and feel ) this CLUNK ! I just had a new ( rebuilt ) steering box put in but i suspect its something else. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!
