I don't believe the pedophile has any remorse for his actions..........whether they be forcing children into acts of sex or using the title of an elite military group. Such individuals have no conceince and there is no apology or remorse even when confronted with the blatant abuse that they have caused.
Society is better served via long incarceration of such individuals..........or worse.........but the cost is prohibitive.
