It’s time to put on the hardtop for the winter. But the rear window defroster has a defect. Only the upper 1.5” of the heating lines works, which indicates to me, that the plus side of the heating element is broken somewhere down one of the side of the window.

But not to remove both inside covers, it would be nice if someone could tell me what side of the window the plus side leading foil is? I will try to fix it with a repair pen to establish the connection again if possible.
