I am not sure if the welded rear is an overall improvment or not. I cannot help the front end from pushing with it on slow turns. There may be a way to combat this, like larger tires on the front or perhaps tying up the rear end so that when it leans it will pick up the inside wheel on the rear. So I am weighing my options and thinking of next year.

I am looking around for a 280sl that is suitable to set up as a dedicated autocrosser, hopefully with lsd.
