Just the thought makes everything pucker.
My mom made one of those years ago with a board, two nails and an old lamp cord. Took a few times to find a plug that wouldn't pop the breaker. But after that, it worked pretty good. Took about 10 seconds as I recall.

Funny how even Presto did their share to keep things messed up in the hot dog world.
Hot dogs come 10 to a pack. Buns come 8 to a pack. And that thing cooks 6 at a time.
