I replaced mine a few years ago and I think I remember using one from a different car. I don't know exactly which one but I know it wasn't one for a CA '85 SD.
A friend of mine helped me out and I remember him taking a part from my old one and fitting it to the used replacement one. I would have to have two of them in front of me now but I know others will work.
