We'll, it looks like my father's 1993 300D 2.5 turbo engine has a warped head or blown gasket possibly from overheating.

Does anyone know what the cost of rebuidling this engine would be?
The chassis is in great condition.

What about buying a rebuilt engine? I'd like to get something that will last another 420K miles.
