yes - if you want to impress a client or a babe, i would not suggest driving up in a Camry or an Accord. i find the Mercedes to be a stylish ride and a soul-nourishing experience everytime i take it out for a drive. it certainly makes a statement. it does have some interesting engineering and manufacturing idiosyncrasies.

that being said, i just spent three hours screwing around with the pumps and motors for the wiper/washer system. the pump delivering fluid to the windshield was burned out while the one for the heradlights was not. i switched the two - even though they are different parts (and colors). problem the washer/grommet at the bottom is broken so all of the fluid is leaking out. it is a 75 cent part, so i will replace it and hopefully all will be right in the world.
