Cheaping out on home improvement projects always bites people in the ass later.
I have never seen and Ikea kitchen or bathroom I liked, unless it was in a cheap $200k one bedroom condo, then you can get away with it.

Does Ikea even offer solid wood cabinets? Good wood, like Cherry?
