The NFL is now more than ever a home run hitters league. (Air Coryell anyone?)

The Colts had 2&1/2 last year and won the Super Bowl.
Sooo, the Pats go and get their 2 home run hitters, Moss & Stallworth.
Cowboys go get one last year , TO, and viola, they're at the top of the NFC heap.

The Eagles dumped the last two home run hitters they had, who coincidentially were named Terrell Owens in '06 and Donte Stallworth in '07.
Now they struggle along at .500 and will be the next victim of the Pats this Sunday.
Little pass rush, corners playing average. Dawkins out. It will be ugly early.

I'd support a mercy rule, but there is always Frank Reich to remember.
