Sirius in 300SD,wiring and more....????

I just bought the Sirius Sporster #4 kit for the car and home and 'quickly' put it in my 300SD. Right now there are the wires hanging around and i want to permantly mount the unit. I do have the stock radio in her but will put my older CD unit soon. I think I know how the wiring is going to go but if you have any suggestions on the procedure, or what you have done with a similar unit, let me know.

Basics: Since my radio doesn't have a female jack for an ipod/accessory plug, i'm going to use the FM direct adapter to use the stock antenna. I'll direct wire the unit to either the radio or a fuse location so it goes on with the stock radio.
I'll have two wires coming down from the cradle unit that will be hidden as well as i can.

Some questions.
1. Where have you mounted your unit? How did you route the wires? Hide them.
2. Am i doing this right? (i do have to use this radio unit)

thanks
