I don't agree that publishing ways to remove a safety feature (airbag) is in any way wrong, since (a) it doesn't affect anyone other than myself and (b) there are newer model vehicles of the same type that don't even have an airbag. I do agree that publicly publishing a bypass to a security system is not appropriate

However, I can appreciate and respect why any Tech would not want to publish this information to eliminate any chance of damaging their reputations!
