I am having the same problem with my 82 SE - and it's not the Hazard Switch as I swapped it out with one of the other 126's. It's my understanding there is a seperate flasher relay - it's my quest to find where they have stuck it.
My FSM does not cover the Euro's so I referenced a 82 380. Plate #2 shows the turn, hazard relay as N10 under the panel on the passenger floorboard BUT alas not on the 500SE they have hidden it elsewhere.
