Good luck.
Go to the TireRack site here , type in your vehicle & select any All Season tire you want.
Btw. my 2007 C 230 Sport has 225/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17 in the back for the summer.
In the winter I run 225/45/17 Snowtires front & rear.
Do you use the 245 tires on the OE 7.5 wheels up front? I would assume that 8.5 in wheels on the front will rub on something, or am I wrong?
The new owner should be aware of these matters, and learn to avoid any tire shops that don't know what they are doing. Like ask them to use stick-on wheel weights when balancing and hand torque the lug bolts to spec.
I saw what a mess a Firestone shop did to a C230 with staggered wheels, they sent the car to my friend's shop to have the broken-off lug bolt drilled out and it turned out they needed a new hub all because a tire jockey set his air tool to max torque

Oh, use sacks of sand for weight, you never know when you might need some for traction
