I bandsawed about 1" from the handle of a cheapo Torx screwdriver to make removing the airbag on my SL easier, given the limited clearance even with the steering wheel turned so that the access hole is at the 6 oclock position. You can get a set of these for under $10.00 at any auto supply store, used mainly for headlights and such I think.
