I have to agree with MB DOC on this...Mercedes has never said to replace a certain intervals, but to check for wear and stretch. Usually they will live to and beyond 100k. (My 300E had 206,000 miles on it when sold and I never put in a chain. It had 2 degrees stretch when sold. But perfect service history!)
