Message 8 gives a list of MBs that should have the 722.1xx tranny.
On the passengers side of the car, on the side of the tranny on MY car there is a small headed bolt that is kind of hidden by what I think is the kickdown solenoid. The top of my bolt is all of 1/4 inch and then gets slightly larger as it goes into the transmission.
My hands are small so I could get my hand up and into the tiny area where the bolt is and turn it. I'm not sure someone with large hands could hand turn it.
I think it turned 8 times which at half a turn each is something like 4 full turns.
I don't know how long the entire bolt is, but this was really loose and easy to tighten by hand.
