I know compression is critical to WVO. If so what would you recommend with regards to the head? Does the OMG617 usually need skimming?

I want to do a quality job here. The engine runs OK but has a slack timing chain and bad injectors. Im sure it has another 100k+ with a good rebuild. Are there any other engine components that require special scrutiny during a rebuild? What about the oil pump and chain?

I dont want to cut corners but I dont want to buy a new engine either.
If you want 100k more miles out of it, don't consider the WVO/SVO. Improperly treated SVO/WVO has been known to coke injectors, cause sludge, and overall cause running problems.
