You move the seat FORWARD by pulling up on the lever that is on the front of the seat. You move it UP by pulling up on the lever that is on the side of the seat. Pull up that lever and scootch the seat up and forward. The side lever is for elevating the seat so you can see over the dash better. Moving that lever and pull the seat forward will expose the back bolts. They use a 10mm socket, BTW.
