You know guys...my father pointed out something to fix this...he said ace hardware has a rubber grommet section....find a rubber grommet that fits the bolt and roughly inside the shock eye...and then put a washer on each side of the shock eye and thread the bolt thru it so that when it tightens it squeezes the grommet and gives the expansion needed to dampen the vibrations......it also keeps the grommet in the eye never to come out.....I think this fix will work and a much easier fix than replacing the whole shock assembly...
