My dad had a FJ-40 diesel when I was growing up. I think the car was an '83 or so... don't remember exactly. Must have been a gray-market thing because they weren't sold in the US. WHAT A RIG!!! wow i wish he never sold it. That thing could go many places a Jeep of any variety couldn't even think about. 5 speed tranny made it downright sporty and fun to drive too. I have a non-turbo 617 just itching to go into something like that, so if anyone knows of a decent one without an engine in the $500 range, let me know LOL.
