I may not be ahead of you on this. What I have written is just what I think from looking at the cars wiring and the schematic. R17 most likely is used to "trim" the fuel injection computer, but that is just my best guess. If it is I would like to know how to trim it. I am certainly not an expert and could easily be wrong. I do appreciate your offer to ask an expert.
