A 500E has the same front doors, roof, hood trunklid and glass as other W124s. FWIW the rear doors encorporate some of the rear flare, beginning mid door (which is why the rear flare is less pronounced). Those flares allow for a wider track, which is why none of the suspension bits are common to other W124s; however, several items such as springs and rollbars can be fitted to other models in the range, but sometimes require modifications.
