Well, since someone already started this thread, what's an '83 300CD worth that's currently in running, driveable condition except it's got 260K and the tranny flares on the 2-3 shift. Engine was allegedly replaced 4 years ago after Jiffy-Lube screwed up an oil-change. Without using a block-heater, it started up instantly from cold in freezing weather after sitting for a week, with good oil pressure after warmup. Decent Sears radials. Hood hinges good. All mechanical systems working except cruise and AC compressor. Receent new Bilsteins, motor mounts and repaired window regulators. Mettalic grey with bad clearcoat, but body is straight and looks virtually cancer-free except for 1 pencil-eraser size spot in bottom of left rear fender. Floors appear perfect, with no holes, cracks or bulges in the undercoat. Tex interior and dash is in similar condition to the non-running example posted above. Thanks.

Happy Motoring, Mark
