My wife drove one for 13 years.

Nice car, but more costly to maintain than the W123 cars.
Finally replaced it with a 95 E320 wagon several years ago.
She loved the 300TD, but I wasn't thrilled with the cost of upkeep.

The W124 chassis is a big step up from the W123 dynamically.
