The aforementioned issues in previous posts are the same ones that I heard while researching a '95 E300D. I finally decided that there will be issues with any car, no matter what car I buy, and the '95 was the same or better than other cars that I was considering.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I recently had the fuel shut-off knob replaced on the top of my fuel filter housing. Fuel was slightly weeping around the stem of the shut-off knob. (Enough to make a stink.) I didn't have my service manual at that point so I had the dealer do it. The job was about $240 for parts and labor.
