Check for any burn spots on the gauge circuits...if something overheated and shorted a lead, it could cause the type of problems you describe.
Check fuses too. Most likely you didn't blow any, otherwise the whole cluster would be dead.

The LED's did work, but they were so dim that I put the other bulbs back in and they work, just the stupid left bank gauges are out of whack now. Talk about frustrating.
By the way, I just found this thread, and it might solve my problem, as the high beam is acting weird also.
