14 months ago I purchased a 1984 300D with 300,000 miles. I towed her home, but after putting three glow plugs in her I drove her down the road. (Oh, the glory after sitting for five years!
) I was so stunned she started after setting for five years. I drove the car (with poor brakes) on two different occasion for six miles. The transmission was the really amazing part....it shifted perfectly, but the transmission did have an AAMOCO rebuilt around 200,000 miles. As a result I have had a hard time taking parts from her. Basically, I am posting here to sell what I can off of the car. Not any interior left. She sets in my back yard whenever I look at her she reminds me that she could still go down the road.
(yes I personalize and get attached to cars very easily....taking the first part from her was very difficult for me) Although there are other parts I am primarly noting that there is a good transmission and decent engine. If you are interested in other parts let me know and I will take a look. (Parting can be such sorrow)
