My '92 300TE can do it, especially in the wet. In Seattle, we have lots of that and also lots of worn concrete pavement -- exposed aggregate -- smooth stones -- nice and slick in the wet. My old Michelins were not to be trusted, I could spin on a slight incline from 20-30 MPH while kicking the throttle and from 4th down to 2nd (e.g. freeway on ramp)(dry or wet). My Bridgestone RE950's have almost none. Almost exact same story on my '80 VW Rabbit Pickup (with '85 GTI motor). Hated the old Michelins, love the new RE950ís.
