What are the problems with the 6.0? Is there some peace of mind that most problems are behind an engine with 100-150K miles or can problems strike at any time?

We're thinking of replacing the 97 'burb 6.5 with an Excursion for the interior space benefit. No plans to tow. We had a full size van but SUVs are easier to park and oddly feel less like trucks on the road.
