I did valve stem seals...no noticeable improvement..
did upper cover and Horsheshoe gasket.. went from a quart in 350 miles to a quart in abouit 2200 miles.
Still have a bit of oil dripping from somewhere on the CE... also did the 260E...it just leaks tranny fluid...ha-ha-ha.

I resealed everything on that boy, stem seals, upper timing case, etc. No external leaks.
And the trans was resealed right before I bought the the 300sel.
Only thing I didn't do was the front main seal. And the seepage is quite obvious.
