That chassis was a greats one and still looks good ..
The problem they had were 3 , all expensive..
Head Gasket
Wire Harness
A/c evaporator

The good news is the gasket was modified and the new one seems to hold up [ providing you get the right brand]
The Harness has been trouble free after the change [ no longer bio-degradeable insulation..or at least a better type]
Evap...some leaked , some didn't..yor call on how important a/c is to you.

The car has been known to go 300K easy with the new repairs and most owners that have them have bitten those bullits and are still happily driving the car. I prefer them over later 210 , but that is just my preference..they certainly merit credit in my book and the 104 engine is close to perfection for an in-line 6 ...very smooth and power to boot.
The Midas guys are going to know Nothing about these concerns, I can almost gaurantee you that............
The "Midas Touch" means don't let them touch your car.....
