Thanks for the info. I'll try the search again armed with your description. Like you, we've also had a snowstorm (I'm in "ChicagoLand"), so the comparative G-tech runs will have to wait.

In answer to your question, my 400E is bone-stock; not even a K&N. Everything in or on my car has a Mercedes part number on it. So the G-tech runs should be informative.

I'll let you know once I've located the resistor.
