Thats cool. According to the Mercedes Shop Manual. under the 616 617 oil change section: Note 1: For continuous temperatures above +30 deg C (84 deg F) SAE 40 can be used.
I think its more important to change it every 5,000 miles. Then split hairs over brand/type oil... LOL
