Back in the 1960's on the East Coast there was an outfit called Ziebart that drilled tiny holes in the rocker panels etc. and sprayed thier secret stuff up inside the body cavities , I know of many cars so protected that didn't rust out in the usual 5 ~ 6 years .

Back in Chicago, the only "Rustproofing" that was worth a cr** was Ziebart's. They would actually take a new car apart, and with their experience analyze it and figure out where it would rust. Then, they would publish the instructions to their dealers on where to put the rustproofing. I don't know if they still do this but back in the 60's-80's if you had a car Ziebarted when new it was worth more at resale time. I wonder what their double-secret instructions were on 107's...
