Pending a clean bill of health from the machine shop, I have a good (#14) 603 head. It is at the shop for cleaning and checking including pressure test.

Removed from an '87 300SDL, ~185,00miles, looked well maintained overall. Combustion chambers and valves looked pretty clean, no breaches in the head-gasket, a nice piece.

Comes with lifters, valves, springs, keepers all assembled, and the camshaft and cam gear. Oh, also the chain guides.

Cleaned and certified leak-free.

Prechambers are also installed, and optionally it will have injectors also.

$650 for all above w/o injectors, $750 with injectors. If I'm off on price, make me an offer.

I will probably ebay it if this doesn't work, I don't know how often people are looking for these heads. It was my spare, I was considering "hot-rodding" my 603 and wanted to have spare parts around before I started to turn up the power, but it looks like I'm off to a new project.
