John, I am searching my local goverment sites right now, but can not find the wriiten law.
The first thing I saw was in the Mercedes warranty booklet it states:
`Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you'
I replied the way I did because there had been a local radio auto call in show (web site (www.motorminute.com
) and this was a common question or problem. Not to tarnish any brands, but I seem to recall this problem occuring it seemd often at Ford dealerships. Anyway the host always mentioned implied warranties, and contacting either the states attorney general office or MVA (not sure).
I will e-mail my states attorney general office for an explanation, kind of fascinated.
