You really ought to confirm that there is no air present, but you don't seem to want to do that........?

AFTER you've confirmed the fuel system is sealed up the second and third steps in starting it would be to check the K40 relay and then the shutoff valve.

Not certain what communications you expect the computer to give you when it is not running? It wont tell you that you have an fuel/air leak or that the K40 is bad. It can throw other codes that might point to the K40 and depending upon the type of error it will sometimes throw a code if the SOV creates a fault; other times it won't.

There are certain steps involved to help you and you've yet to get past the first one.
