It doesn't look at all like the 617. But I was just wondering if anybody had seriously looked at that engine as a replacement for the 617. We probably could increase the mileage of our cars considerably with a transplant like that. Would the electronics really be a hurdle. How does it compare in size and weight. It seems to do a really good job pushing those big sprinters around. Well, just thinking about it. It really looks good to me. Could we make it work.

seems like you would need the harneseses and computer for it. but i think they came with nice overdrive trans options, but you would probably need a computer for the auto trans as well
