the reservoir plugs into tight fitting rubber bushings/seals. It has to be pried off using a large screwdriver or similar lever, hopefully while still mounted on the booster

to remove the master cylinder there are two bolts on the back attaching it to the Booster. before loosening them you want to bleed off or suck out the fluid in the reservoir then disconnect the rigid brake lines from the MC, taking care not to bend them and preferably using a line wrench on the fittings (not mandatory, if you don't have a line wrench a regular wrench is ok).
