My Diesel MB gets 25MPG in the city, and it's an S-class, so it's got gobs of comfort that the gas cars that get this mileage don't have.

Now, when annual inspections come around, my diesel is exempt from a smog check, but any gas vehicle will have to pass one. It's so much easier when they just exempt you from the stupid laws. (Stupid because they give exemptions to those that are low income, and they make up well over 80% of the failures, so really, this is just another tax on people that earn money, while those that don't get to continue polluting without any consequences.)

So, I have two gas vehicles parked in the garage, and two diesel mercedes parked in the driveway and used daily. It just makes sense to me.
