This is what I have done so far: changed air filter, both fuel filters up front, adjusted valves, diesel purged the injection pump, cleaned out ALDA vac line to turbo, adjusted idle to 7500, there are no fuel leaks around the injectors, and I also cracked each injector nut one at a time and they all made the idle worse. I put a meter on the plugs and all of them are glowing through their cycles like they should. My brother has the same car, same millage and his car starts sweet, and his engine sounds quieter and seems to not have the turbo lag mine does, ...what do you guys think? are there some other things I should check? .....I remember reading something about low compession in a cylinder could cause this and that the compression gets better when the engine warms up so then it dosen't idle so rough ??? I don't know, any sugestions? Thanks -Robby
It would be hard to make an educated guess without knowing what your compression is. Can you do a compression test?
