I haven't dealt with them directly, but I just bought an '85 300D this weekend that was parked at Lonnie's for a few weeks.

According to the PO, the car would idle fine, but would quickly lose power on the road and sometimes even stall. Lonnie's told him that he was going to need hundreds of dollars of repairs. But, they so nicely offered to buy the car for $300 to help him out.

I fixed the car in 10 minutes with a $10 fuel filter.

Oh, and the PO told me he had to pay (coincidentally???) $300 in storage fees to get the keys back in order to sell the car to me.
