Ok, I found an 85 380se for $300. Body is just a bit nicer than my SD and the interior is way nicer.

So how many little things that you forget about does it take to swap in a diesel in place of the gasser? If its too much work I will just strip the interior and take whatever else is better from the 380.

Originally intended to just use the trans from the gasser for its internals to rebuild mine but after looking at the car its going to be a donor for some other things too.
